TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PRIVATE HIRES AT HOME OR IN A VENUE

Any outstanding balances must be paid in CASH on delivery please when the team arrive on the day of hire. We cannot accept card payments on the day. Unfortunately under NO circumstances will we leave our equipment without the full balance being paid on delivery. Thank you

Booking Conditions

We are happy to work with other suppliers you may have at your event and do so on a regular basis. We are more than happy to provide you with our documents such as risk assessments, PLI certificates and test certificates.

Please ensure the other suppliers at your event (if any) also have the correct documentation to provide and are setting up correctly as per the inflatable health and safety regulations. We reserve the right to refuse set up or leave an event if this is not adhered to and no refund will be given.

We cannot control the weather. By choosing to hire our products in an outside area you take the risk in doing so instead of hiring indoors. No refunds will be given if your booking needs to be cancelled due to rain, heat, wind, snow, storms etc. Your booking can be transferred to another date for use within 3 months of the original hire date subject to availability. All changes need to be made a minimum of 48 hours before your hire date. Any changes within 48 hours will be treated as a 100% cancellation. If you are worried about the weather potentially affecting your booking, please hire an indoor venue to avoid this or have a back up plan.

Booking fee's -

For each booking a booking fee of £25 per asset is required via our online payment system. You then have the option to pay the remaining balance via cash on the day or contact us before the hire date via email to pay off the remaining balance.

You also have the option to pay your balance in full at time of booking using our online payment system.

Booking fee's are strictly non-refundable. This is because your one of a kind chosen asset(s) has been reserved specifically for you and other potential customers have been unable to book the asset(s). By accepting our terms and conditions you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and understand that in the event of a full cancellation your booking fee will not be refunded and as such will be used to cover administration costs.

Cancellations

You can cancel at a loss of the booking fee(s) anytime up to 48hrs before your hire date, although we ask for as much notice as possible and you must email us at info@bigbouncetheory.co.uk

You will always get a response back from us via email. If no email has been received by us requesting a cancellation from you, the hirer and we turn up to the address given on the day, you will still be liable to pay the full hire cost.

Please note that booking fee's are non-refundable.

If you cancel within 48hrs of the hire date, on the date of hire, or upon delivery, we will charge 100% of the total booking cost with no exceptions.

If you have paid the balance in full and cancel 48hrs before the hire date, we will refund you the hire cost minus the £25 per asset booking fee(s)

If you have paid the balance in full and cancel within 48hrs of the hire date, on the date of hire, or upon delivery, we will charge 100% of the total booking cost with no exceptions.

If you cancel on the day of agreed hire, or if you are a no show, or refuse delivery on the day, 100% of the booking amount will be payable to us without fail if not already paid in full. If we receive no payment within 7 days of the original hire date, we will charge the card used to make the booking fee payment accordingly, or we will pass details onto a debt collector to recover 100% funds plus the collectors associated costs on top.

All sizes, dimensions - including door width requirements and ground types covered are clearly displayed on our website. Should we arrive on the day and the items do not fit in your chosen venue or event area or garden, or the ground be deemed unsuitable - your order will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee to cover the cost already laid out for your booking such as testing, organising of your entertainment, loading up, vehicle hire and costs and staff commitments which will now have to be paid regardless of whether your event goes ahead or not. There will be no exceptions.

We do not cover unforeseen circumstances i.e illness, natural disasters, pandemics and such-like. We do not issue refunds.

Amendments

You must email us at info@bigbouncetheory.co.uk as soon as possible to make any amendments e.g. time change, date change, address change, product/asset change, adding on other assets/products, making a personal details change etc. Date changes are subject to the managers discretion, one date change is allowed for use within 3 months of the original hire date. Any changes made inside of 14 days prior to your hire date that lowers the booking value, the original hire value still stands. If we cannot accomodate your change and you do not want to go ahead with the original booking - no refund is given. Date change requests made within 48 hours of the hire date will be treated as a cancellation.

Health & Safety

All our inflatables are designed for use by children of up to 65kgs and should not be used by children over the age of 11 (Not applicable to our range of adult castles)

No food drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the Inflatable.
All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges, belts must be removed before using Inflatables.
No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near any of our equipment. Failure to adhere will result in a cleaning charge of £50.00, if the equipment is damaged or stained you will be billed the total cost of a new unit to replace the one damaged/stained.
No shoes on any of our soft play mats or crash mats. If there is any damage on any of our mats, you will be billed accordingly for a new set.
No smoking or barbecues near Inflatables at any time.
Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is dangerous and must not be allowed at any time, some of our inflatables are designed to have low walls for supervision purposes, on these types of inflatables this rule is exceptionally important, especially when the castle is erected on hard surfaces.
Two responsible adults must supervise the Inflatable at all times, If not adhered to and in the event an accident does occur you may be liable under your own insurance.
Always ensure that the Inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age, size and stature of children using it. Try to avoid large and small children from using it at the same time as this can only lead to accidents.
Ensure that children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
No pets, toys or sharp instruments are allowed on or near the Inflatable under any circumstances.
Do not allow anyone to be on the Inflatable during inflation or deflation as this can be extremely dangerous.
If the Inflatable is not being used for any part of the day or adequate supervision is not available, please ensure that all children are well away from the castle and that the fan is switched off at the mains, never walk away from a bouncy castle until it has fully deflated as small children can be caught up inside, this can lead to suffocation.
Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off only.
Ensure that no one with a history of back or neck problems or who suffers from a heart complaint uses the Inflatable or anyone who is feeling unwell or suffering the effects of alcohol or drugs & Pregnant women may not use any equipment at anytime, In the event that someone is injured, Remove all other children from the unit as safely & as smoothly as possible and DO NOT move the individual, leave the inflatable switched on and dial 999 immediately for advise.
Ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately. Socks on, long sleeved tops and trousers for inflatable slides etc.

Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 meters) around the unit is completely clear and ensure the area in which the castle is to be erected is completely swept of debris, any mess and that all washing lines, children’s toys and especially Dog droppings are removed before our arrival.
DO NOT PUT WATER ON ANY OF OUR EQUIPMENT AT ANY TIME. If we arrive and the equipment is wet (being wet from the rain is exempt) you will be charged another full days hire rate on those products.

In the event of thunderstorms, please do not use the inflatable, but do leave the inflatable ON to stop the water pooling in the bottom. Once the storm has cleared - any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
In the event that the fan stops working, ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately to avoid suffocation. The most common faults are the fan tipping over or the air vents becoming obstructed by leaves, debris & carrier bags etc, if this is the case, then please remove the obstruction carefully. If the problem persists, then please call us immediately on 07540166674
Please note that The Big Bounce Theory will not be held responsible for any damage caused as a result of bringing any of our equipment and assets through the house as requested by you the hirer. The equipment is heavy and will be transported on a sack barrow, please do bear this in mind. We will not under any circumstances carry the asset(s) through the house as they are too heavy to do so.
All soft play balls must be placed in the ball bags provided - by you the customer - before the team pick up at the time allocated, failure to do so will incur a charge of £20.00. This is taken upfront and will only be refunded if the balls are cleared away prior to us collecting. This will not be refunded if any of our team have to clear away the balls and return them to the sacks.
When hiring our inflatable games (shootouts/targets/darts/baseball) there is an additional deposit. This deposit is taken upfront and is returned back to you providing no equipment is damaged or lost. If any equipment is damaged or lost, the deposit will not be refunded.

If the products you have hired will not physically fit in your indoor space, we will bring products that do fit in the form of inflatables, soft play, games. The original hire value is still payable.

Booking fee's

To confirm your booking with us a non-refundable booking fee of 25% of the total hire value is due within 7 days of confirming your product(s). No booking is confirmed without a booking fee being taken unless agreed otherwise in writing by a member of our team. We will only hold products for a maximum of 7 days with no payment.

The remaining 75% balance is due to be paid no later than 7 days prior to your event date, unless agreed otherwise in writing by a member of our team. Any late payments will incur a late payment fee of £25.

If the products you have hired will not physically in your indoor space, we will bring products that do fit in the form of inflatables, soft play, games. The original hire value is still payable.

By accepting our terms and conditions you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Cancellations

You can cancel at a loss of the booking fee(s) anytime up until 14 days before your hire date, although we ask for as much notice as possible and you must email us at info@bigbouncetheory.co.uk

No refunds are given, however we allow one date change subject to availability to another date for use within 3 months of your original hire date.

You will always get a response back from us via email. If no email has been received by us requesting a cancellation from you prior to 14 days, you will still be liable to pay the full hire cost.

If you have paid the balance in full and cancel prior to 14 days before the hire date, we will refund you 75% of the hire cost, the 25% booking fee is forfeited in the event of a cancellation for any reason.

If you have paid the balance in full and cancel within 14 days of the hire date, or upon delivery, we will charge 100% of the total booking cost with no exceptions.

If we receive no payment within 7 days of the original hire date, we will pass details onto a debt collector to recover 100% funds plus the late fee and collectors associated costs on top.

We do not cover unforeseen circumstances i.e illness, natural disasters, pandemics and such-like.

We allow one date change to be made prior to 14 days of your event date, subject to availability and for use within 3 months of your original hire date. If we cannot accommodate your change, no refund will be given.

We require electrical sockets within 25 metres of the product(s) you are hiring. We only set up on grass outside, we do not set up on Hard surfaces outside.
